Onward

Well, I went to the ABNA site. Looked under my genre. Looked a second and a third time. Even Ctrl + F to find my name. No luck. No second round for this author today. I’m not overly surprised. I didn’t give them the best pitch in the world and who knows what they were looking for. Still, it always plants the seed of doubt while spurring the determination to become better.

Onward.

  1. I left a comment but I’m not sure if it went through. Dammit! I don’t even remember what I wrote. So just in case it didn’t go through, here’s something similar to what I think I wrote. 🙂

Don’t let that seed of doubt grow. I totally understand the feeling, any sort of rejection plants a seed of doubt, but you can’t let it win. This doesn’t mean you’re no good. It’s a tough market out there. So keep moving forward (as you said: onwards). Keep writing, keep improving and one day you’ll be a best seller. 🙂

  3. Don’t “plant” a seed. Let those seeds blow away in the wind and take root elsewhere. If I were you, I’d drive down to Lowe’s and buy another kind of seed. Maybe faith or confidence. Something that reminds you that it’s on it’s way. Watch those bloom instead.
